I am participating in the Firefighter Stairclimb Challenge taking place this June in support of Wellspring Alberta. I remain committed to this fundraiser, to stay focused on the end goal of ensuring family and friends do not have to suffer the grief of losing loved ones to this insidious disease as it has quite often in the past. I am a person who like to get things done and by doing this fundraiser, I am doing a small part in a huge battle with cancer

Proceeds from the event will support Wellspring Alberta, an organization that provides free programs, services and support to individuals living with cancer – those diagnosed, caregivers and kids. Wellspring Alberta will gift a portion of the proceeds to the Firefighters Assistance Charitable Society (FACS) whose mission is to empower and strengthen the firefighter by enhancing the success and resilience of the firefighter community.
