I am participating in the Firefighter Stairclimb Challenge taking place this June in support of Wellspring Alberta. I am excited to take on the challenge and look forward to pushing myself to climb in support of people living with cancer.

Proceeds from the event will support Wellspring Alberta, an organization that provides free programs, services and support to individuals living with cancer – those diagnosed, caregivers and kids. I am blessed to be part of a group of women that I can call sisters. I have trained with them, learned with them, worked with them and the list goes on!

I have been blessed to not have had to struggle with cancer directly but I have watch so many close to me do so.

I am blessed to have an able body to take on this challenge of raising money and climbing stairs in order to help those now and in the future battle cancer and hopefully, one day, put an end to it too.
