On October 6, 2024, I will be participating in the 2024 Big Walk for Cancer Support to raise funds for Wellspring Chinguacousy Cancer Support Foundation.

The fundraising event will help fund cancer support programs and services that Wellspring Chinguacousy Cancer Support Foundation provides, free of charge for individuals and families living with cancer.

Exercise helps Cancer patients recovery

Wellspring Chinguacousy offers exercise programs for cancer patients to help manage cancer related symptoms and improve quality of life. Programs include Yoga, Qigong and supervised in center exercise. I have benefited greatly from the in center exercise program which is led by experienced Physiotherapy/Kinesiology professionals. Monica, below is one of these professionals. She not only offers a wealth of knowledge but also support and of course her winning smile. She is my hero, always motivating and encouraging.
The Wellspring Chinguacousy Big Walk fundraiser will help support programs like these that cancer patients can benefit from.

Living with Cancer with the help of Wellspring...

Living with cancer for has been challenging emotionally, physically and mentally. I’m so grateful to my team of doctors and medicine for keeping me alive. However, it has been the Wellspring programs that has helped me live. The programs and staff members are absolutely amazing. They are here to help cancer patients, care givers and their families navigate the complex and draining cancer journey. The programs and supports are all free to the patients and family.  They rely on fundraising and donations to keep offering these services. This year I am finally up to the challenge🤞to participate in the Big Walk Family Event. We would be so grateful if you could donate to our cause.  I have also created a Team “The Cancer Crushers” if any of you are interested in joining the team to raise funds together. Thank you🙏
