I want to support an important cause.
In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness month, and my 40th birthday, I am raising money to support Wellspring, which offers robust programming for anyone affected by cancer. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I found comfort in their counselling services, QiGong classes, nutritional counselling and more. I borrowed books from their library and joined a vision board workshop. Wellspring does not just focus on living with cancer, but living life to the fullest, which is how I try to live.
As my 40th birthday approaches, I am grateful to have lived almost a decade with metastatic breast cancer. I am grateful to have shared many meals, laughs, and experiences with my family and friends.
