10 years ago I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. I was 34 years old with a 6 and 4 year old to take care of.  I was scared out of my mind but knew I had to pick myself up and fight hard. It was not easy.  As much as friends and family rallied around me and supported me in every possible way,  I felt more alone than ever.  It was because nobody could truly understand my pain and fears. That’s when Wellspring came in. The minute I entered those doors I felt a sense of peace and comfort. I found a support group where everyone completely related to both my physical and mental challenges. I participated in their exercise and nutrition programs, the Look Good, Feel Better program as well as many other amazing initiatives. The space at Wellspring is inviting and comfortable. There are snacks available for guests to enjoy and volunteers throughout to assist in any way they can. All of this is possible because of fundraising initiatives like this one. 

I am thrilled to be able to walk with my friend Michelina in support of such an amazing place.  Let’s go Queen Mickey’s Bougie Battalion!!! 💕
