I'm fundraising for...

I'm fundraising for both of my parents. This years ride is more important to me than ever. My dad was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and amyloidosis in 2014. His strength and resilience through all of the challenges he has faced on this journey is an inspiration to me. Last summer, my mom received a diagnosis of breast cancer. She has spent the last year battling this with surgery, radiation, and is now facing the numerous challenges of hormone therapy.

Wellspring Alberta is a charitable organization that supports, informs and empowers anyone diagnosed with any type of cancer, their caregivers and their families. They offer a comprehensive range of evidence-informed programs and resources free of charge and without referral, all under the vision that no one has to face cancer alone.
