I'm fundraising for...my Mom, and all those in the trenches of a Cancer battle.
I am participating in the Firefighter Stairclimb Challenge taking place this June in support of Wellspring Alberta. This is personal to me, as many know I lost my Mom to an aggressive breast cancer in 2012. She was only 54 years old. I've had the honor of knowing many who have fought this battle, and many family members in the trenches with them. Wellspring is an incredible organization that provides much needed support to everyone in this fight.
I am excited to take on the challenge yet again, hopefully without injuries or COVID this time, and look forward to pushing myself to climb in support of people living with cancer.
