I'm fundraising in memory of my mother Arlette Bardakjian
In 2016, I lost my kind and loving mother to the cruel grip of metastatic breast cancer. As fate would have it, I was diagnosed with breast cancer later that same year. I wish we had known about the oasis of support provided by Wellspring as we were going through our cancer journeys. The tangible and intangible services available to those living with cancer is immeasurable. This is the reason I became a volunteer with Wellspring and joined the Well Dressed for Spring Committee.
On March 27, 2024, I will be stepping onto the runway at the Well Dressed for Spring Fashion Show, not just as a participant but as a tribute to my mother Arlette Bardakjian. For me, it’s more than just a walk - it’s a celebration of resilience and a testament to the enduring spirit of those affected by cancer.
This event will help raise funds for the cancer support programs and services that Wellspring provides, at no cost, to individuals and families living with cancer. Please help me reach my fundraising goal of $10,000, so that together we can make a difference in the lives of Wellspring members.
