🐥 Quacks for a Cancervive 🐥
Last year, we raised over $2300 for Wellspring Alberta, and I rode my Brompton bike Tiny Wheels 50-km from Banff to Johnston’s Canyon and back!
This year, we’re heading back to the Bow Valley Parkway to take on the 75-km route - but this time, we’re not riding alone!
For my 2026 Cancervive fundraising campaign, donations of $20 or more won’t just come with a tax receipt - you’ll get to pick your very own sponsor duck! Once we raise $1000, I’ll bring your duck along for the entire ride! 🐥
Wellspring Alberta provides over 70 evidence-based programs for those living with cancer, their caregivers, and their families. These programs include symptom management, financial planning, education and workplace training, and more. Wellspring provides these programs for free and without referral!

As I train for Cancervive 2026, I'll be sharing some of the incredible programs that Wellspring Alberta provides to support individuals and families living with cancer.

This episode highlights Money Matters, a program that helps people navigate financial and legal challenges like income replacement, drug coverage, insurance, returning to work, and more. When you're facing cancer, having someone help with these complex issues can make an enormous difference.
