My WHY

Hey there! I'm gearing up for the annual Firefighter Stairclimb Challenge this June, and I couldn't be more excited to tackle those stairs for a great cause. 

As someone currently in the process of becoming a firefighter, this event means the world to me. It's not just about the physical challenge; it's about the camaraderie, the dedication, and the opportunity to work alongside my future colleagues. Every step I take in training and fundraising is a step closer to realizing my dream of serving my community as a firefighter.

But beyond the sweat and the sore legs, there's a deeper reason why I'm all in for supporting Wellspring Alberta in their fight against cancer. Having witnessed firsthand the resilience of loved ones battling this disease, it's a cause close to my heart, motivating me to make a meaningful impact.

So, as I lace up my boots and prepare to climb those stairs, I'm not just climbing for myself or for my future career—I'm climbing for those who have fought and continue to fight against cancer. Together, let's make every step count, spreading hope, raising awareness, and supporting those in need.
