Wellspring Chinguacousy's Big Walk Family Event for Cancer Support

The 2023 Big Walk Family Event for Cancer Support is an inspiring annual campaign of community-support, activity, and fun, where your efforts will help improve the lives of individuals and families living with cancer in the Brampton/Caledon region.  

Join us at 9 AM for registration and get ready for an exciting day filled with entertainment by DJ thejbxperience, engaging activities, and a lively warm-up. At 10 AM, the walk kicks off! Take part in a leisurely stroll through the park, show your spirit, and be on the lookout for family-friendly activities along the way. After the walk, dance, eat, play, and join in on the fun!

All funds raised through the Big Walk Family Event for Cancer Support will be used to provide specialized supportive care programming that has been proven to help thousands of people take an active role in controlling and overcoming their cancer experience.

About Wellspring Chinguacousy

At Wellspring Chinguacousy, you will find a range of programs designed to help provide connection and belonging, ease physical pain and emotional distress, build strength and mobility, and reduce fatigue. Specialized financial, workplace, counselling and other cancer-related supports are also available.

Wellspring Chinguacousy programs are available across Canada online and at our centre in Brampton, Ontario, all at no charge, and without referral.

The Big Walk Family Event for Cancer Support takes place on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Chinguacousy Park located in Brampton, Ontario. Registration opens at 9:00 am. The walk starts at 10:00 am.

Where does the money I fundraise go?

Funds raised through the Wellspring Chinguacousy Big Walk Family Event for Cancer Support will help provide the many supportive care programs and services offered at Wellspring Chinguacousy, to help those living with cancer and their loved ones overcome the practical, emotional, physical and informational challenges that come with a diagnosis. Wellspring receives no government funding and is entirely supported by donors like you!
