AKA Gloria

Friday 2nd Oct My avatar Gloria is my own mascot. She's coming full circle for my sister Carol and her beloved Wellspring and broader community. She is a stuffed toy dinosaur, tiny and fuzzy, and when her buttons are pushed, she dances and sings Gloria Gaynor's famous song: "I Will Survive," Gloria was gifted to me by my sister in 2015. She brought her determination. I am bringing her back. I came for The Walk from Seattle and met some of the gang yesterday. I had so much fun as they welcomed me into their exercise class with my carefree, impromptu dancing. I even heard the song titled GLORIA on their music feed waiting in the lobby for my sister to have her Healing Touch Treatnent after. Meeting them all and some of the staff, Serendipity is all around here! I am even more excited to walk with them on their big day.! This is an amazing, heartfelt place holding so many people close and caring. I wish that a place like this had been available when I was going through treatment. This community holds my sister with such care and I am so grateful for their safe haven and such loving expertise with Gloria's attitude. Go Gloria on Sunday! Share
