Wellspring’s Big Walk for Cancer Support ❤️

Hi family and friends,

I’m excited to share that on Sunday, October 4, I’ll be participating in Wellspring’s Big Walk for Cancer Support to help raise funds for cancer support programs and services.

As many of you know, I am a 30-year brain tumour cancer survivor. Being diagnosed with cancer is one of the scariest and loneliest experiences a person can go through. For me, Wellspring Chinguacousy has been a lifeline throughout my journey.

There is nothing worse than feeling alone after a cancer diagnosis. Wellspring gave me a place where I could connect with others who understood what I was going through and reminded me that I didn’t have to face it alone.

Wellspring provides programs and support free of charge to individuals and families living with cancer, and I have personally experienced how much that support can mean.

That’s why this walk is so important to me. I’m walking as a survivor, but also for everyone currently facing cancer and for the families who are walking alongside them.
