2025 Firefighter Stairclimb Challenge

I'm fundraising for...

I am participating in the Firefighter Stairclimb Challenge taking place this June in support of Wellspring Alberta. I am excited to take on the challenge and look forward to pushing myself to climb in support of people living with cancer.

By donating to me, you are helping to make a difference in the lives of many! Proceeds from the event will support Wellspring Alberta, an organization that provides free programs, services and support to individuals living with cancer – those diagnosed, caregivers and kids. Thank you for helping us make a difference in the life of someone facing cancer so that no one has to face cancer alone! For more information about Wellspring Alberta, visit wellspringalberta.ca.

Wellspring Alberta will gift a portion of the proceeds to the Firefighters Assistance Charitable Society (FACS) whose mission is to empower and strengthen the firefighter by enhancing the success and resilience of the firefighter community.

Please support me and these deserving organizations today by making your tax-deductible donation online.

Abagail Korth

Tuesday 18th Mar

It's with heavy hearts that we share this post, this past week Abagail sadly lost her incredibly brave battle with terminal cancer.

Abagail fought with courage and dignity until her very last day. She never once lost her positivity, humour or kindness no matter what she was going through or how much pain she was in.

She was, and will continue to be a source of inspiration to all who knew her and will be dearly missed by so many.

Abagail's attitude about her situation showed us all that's good in humanity, to see her at her recent fundraiser was truly humbling and we at the department hope the show of support the local community gave her, came as a comfort and showed her the support she so richly deserved.

Abagail encapsulated everything that the public think about firefighters, courage in the face of adversity, humility, humour, dignity and an incredibly strong moral compass.

Our thoughts go out to Abagail, her partner Seth, her family and her friends at this difficult time.
