Jim Pendergast was the one of the if not single most influential people in mine and many other fire fighters through his staunch leadership, his experience in the fire fighting and first responder scene and his quick wit and humor. He was always an anchor and many people, not all of whom first responders, looked up to him. We carry him with us every day, through our actions not just as first responders but in every day life as well.
