This August, I’ll once again be riding for the Wellspring Foundation - this time from Toronto to Charlottetown, PEI, covering more than 1,800 kilometres by bike.

Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of riding to Colorado and Halifax alongside an incredible group of people, all connected by a common purpose: supporting individuals and families living with cancer. These rides have become deeply meaningful to me, and I’m proud to be doing it again.

The distance is significant. Long days in the saddle, unpredictable weather, fatigue, sore legs, and early mornings become part of the routine. But compared to what people facing cancer and their families endure every single day, it’s a very small challenge.

What continues to motivate me is the impact Wellspring has on people’s lives. Wellspring provides programs and support that go far beyond treatment - helping individuals and families navigate fear, uncertainty, recovery, mental health challenges, and the emotional weight that cancer places on every part of life. Most importantly, these services are provided at no charge to participants.

This ride is also a reminder not to take health, time, and opportunity for granted. I’m fortunate to be able to do something physically difficult in support of people going through something far harder.

I’m incredibly grateful to ride alongside such a strong and committed group again this year, and I’d sincerely appreciate your support. Every donation helps Wellspring continue delivering essential programs and services to people who truly need them.
