I'm fundraising for myself and friends/family affected by cancer.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer on my birthday in 2021. It was a shock to the system and it made me re-think a lot of things. That was almost four years ago. Fast-forward to today: I am blessed to have a supporting family at home and at work (Dion Strategic). My faith and my family has kept me going, but the journey was more bearable with the support of those at Wellspring. Joining a breast cancer support group, who we've aptly named The Breast Cats, has made all the difference. We have survived something together and now I focus on living and being happy every day.
I also ride in memory of a dear friend and colleague at Dion Strategic, Louis Guay, who lost his battle with cancer last year. I miss you! May he smile down from heaven watching us continue this fight!
This is my third year riding in the Cancervive Ride for Wellspring. I decided to adopt the team name The Breast Cats in honour of riding for all my friends who have survived breast cancer with me.
This ride raises funds for people living with cancer through Wellspring Alberta. I invite you to help me reach my fundraising goal as I participate in a 1-day bike ride through Banff National Park.
I am cycling to support those living with cancer and their caregivers. Did you know 1 in 2 Albertans will get cancer in their lifetime? Wellspring Alberta is a charitable organization that supports, informs and empowers anyone diagnosed with any type of cancer, their caregivers and their families. They offer a comprehensive range of evidence-informed programs and resources free of charge and without referral, all under the vision that no one has to face cancer alone.
Every dollar makes a difference in the lives of someone living with cancer. Please consider supporting me in my efforts to have a positive impact on someone's life.
