Why I Climb
Each year that I have participated in the Firefighter Stairclimb Challenge in support of Wellspring Alberta, I have done so with family and friends in mind. This June, I‘m climbing to support my aunt, who has been battling Lymphoma, and my mom, who is now fighting breast cancer (after previously beating thyroid cancer).
My family knows firsthand the challenges that are faced by cancer patients and their families. By donating to me, you are helping to make a difference in the lives of many!
Wellspring Alberta will gift a portion of the proceeds to the Firefighters Assistance Charitable Society (FACS), whose mission is to empower and strengthen the firefighter by enhancing the success and resilience of the firefighter community.
