I'm fundraising for myself, James, Laun, Jon, Melissa, Roohina, Jade, Carmen, Aganetha and the too many people I know who now have cancer.

In October 2022 my life was interrupted when I was diagnosed with uterine cancer. I was shocked because there was no cancer in our family! After chemotherapy treatments and genetic testing the journey continues and a new normal is emerging. Together with Mark, I recently joined the Cancervive Ride for Wellspring Alberta and created a team “WeRwheelieStrong”, raising funds for people living with cancer.

I invite you to help me reach my fundraising goal as I participate in a 1-day ride along the Bow Valley Parkway in Banff National Park. I am planning on riding at least the 25 km with our team "WeRwheelieStrong"…I may ride 50km.

Joining Wellspring and attending classes at Carma House has been enriching and comforting. We are so lucky to have such a supportive community to help with the cancer journey.

I am cycling to support those I have met living with cancer and their caregivers. Did you know 1 in 2 Albertans will get cancer in their lifetime? Wellspring Alberta is a charitable organization that supports, informs and empowers anyone diagnosed with any type of cancer, their caregivers and their families. They offer a comprehensive range of evidence-informed programs and resources free of charge and without referral, all under the vision that no one should face cancer alone.
