Help me support Wellspring through my Firefighter Stairclimb
I am participating in the Firefighter Stairclimb Challenge taking place this June in support of Wellspring Alberta. I am excited to take on the challenge and look forward to pushing myself to climb in support of people living with cancer.
By donating to me, you are helping to make a difference in the lives of many! Proceeds from the event will support Wellspring Alberta, an organization that provides free programs, services and support to individuals living with cancer – those diagnosed, caregivers and kids. Wednesday 14th JanHey all!
I’ve been wanting to participate in the Firefighter Stairclimb Challenge for a few years now. And am I ever excited to get going!
As you all know, my brother Joey, along with other family members, lived with cancer. Experiencing a loved one take up their fight with cancer is so painful, difficult and at times restrictive. I hope by taking part in this, I can give rest to a person living with cancer or their family.
I’m compelled and excited to do my part to lend support. This year, I’m proud to participate in the climb to honour Ann, Shannon, Joyce, and Joey.
They all will be close to my heart and fresh in my thoughts as I train and participate in the climb.
