2026 Firefighter Stairclimb Challenge - Challenge the Chief

Help me support Wellspring through my climb to Challenge the Chief

I am participating in Challenge the Chief taking place this June in support of Wellspring Alberta. I am excited to take on the challenge and look forward to pushing myself to climb in support of people living with cancer.

By donating to me, you are helping to make a difference in the lives of many! Proceeds from the event will support Wellspring Alberta, an organization that provides free programs, services and support to individuals living with cancer – those diagnosed, caregivers and kids. Thank you for helping us make a difference in the life of someone facing cancer so that no one has to face cancer alone! For more information about Wellspring Alberta, visit wellspringalberta.ca.

Wellspring Alberta will gift a portion of the proceeds to the Firefighters Assistance Charitable Society (FACS) whose mission is to empower and strengthen the firefighter by enhancing the success and resilience of the firefighter community.

Please support me and these deserving organizations today by making your tax-deductible donation online.

2026 Challenge the Chief and Support for Wellspring!

Sunday 17th May
As a proud member of the CPS Challengers team, representing the Calgary Police Service, I'm incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to participate in this event.

The 2026 Challenge The Chief event will be my fifth in support of Wellspring and every year involved/seeing the fundraising and amazing work of both first responders and Wellspring volunteers, moves me beyond words.

Wellspring provides no-cost programs, support and a community for individuals and families living with cancer and the impact they make in people's lives is truly extraordinary. I was fortunate to meet their volunteers and staff to learn about Wellspring's programming last year, and have also had a family member of mine participate in some of those programs in the past. Their work helps people find strength, connection, hope and healing during some of life's most difficult moments - This is a cause worth climbing for.

I'm honoured to continue to support and every donation helps ensure that Wellspring can continue offering vital programs and support to those who need it most; this includes our Fire Fighters who face increased cancer risk due to repeated exposures of smoke, toxins, and other hazardous materials in the course of their careers. These supports are especially important for those who spend their lives protecting others.

Thank you to everyone who supports, donates, encourages, and cheers us on throughout this challenge. Your generosity truly makes a difference!
