I'm fundraising for...WellSpring Alberta
WellSpring Alberta exists to enable Albertans affected by cancer to live well, both through and beyond their diagnosis. Programs support people affected by cancer, including those diagnosed, their caregivers, and children. The support provided by WellSpring Alberta - focusing on body, mind and spirit - compliments the traditional medical side of cancer treatment. There are two Wellspring locations in Calgary, one in Edmonton, satellite sites in Lethbridge and Red Deer, as well as online programs.
I personally have benefitted from a few of the many programs – namely nutrition, exercise, and social events at Randy O’Dell House.
WellSpring Alberta can offer these services - at no charge to participants - due to the generous support of sponsors and fundraising events. I am cycling in the 20th Anniversary Cancervive, a bike ride that starts and ends in Banff. I am reaching out to you, for your financial support, such that WellSpring Alberta may continue to provide much needed, and very beneficial services, to many Albertans. All funds raised go directly to programs and operation of WellSpring Alberta. I appreciate your encouragement and consideration as I participate in the Cancervive cycle adventure!
