Shelly Lindsay Tribute Giving

Shelly was a kind, generous, warm, and strong woman, whose gentle strength touched all those around her. Wellspring Birmingham Gilgan House offered Shelly valuable resources, and a welcoming space that offered comfort and support. Through the many programs offered at Wellspring, Shelly developed many friendships that brought her strength, guidance and joy.

Shelly was a deeply sensitive, compassionate and caring soul who consistently offered her support with an open and generous heart to our Oasis members. I feel blessed to have had the privilege of Shelly’s light in our group and know her soul flies high. Thank you Carol for sharing your Shelly with us…she will be remembered and will forever hold a special place in our hearts….now and always.

If I should die and leave you here awhile, be not like others sore undone, who keep long vigil by the silent dust, for my sake turn again to life and smile, nerving thy heart and trembling hand to do something to comfort other hearts than thine. Complete these dear unfinished tasks of mine and I perchance may therein comfort you. (Mary Lee Hall) My condolences, Carol, to you and your families.
