A Ride for Many People
I recently signed up for the Cancervive Ride for Wellspring. This ride raises funds for people living with cancer through Wellspring Alberta. I invite you to help me reach my fundraising goal as I participate in a bike ride through Banff National Park.
I am cycling to support those living with cancer and their caregivers. Wellspring Alberta is a charitable organization that supports anyone diagnosed with any type of cancer, their caregivers and their families. They offer the vision that no one has to face cancer alone.
Personally, cancer has made a major impact to the life of my family, with my mother passing away in 2016 and my wife's mother passing away at the young age of 46 in 1994. Before he recently passed, my father had been treated for prostate cancer for 15 years. My wife's father is undergoing treatment for cancer currently.
I will be cycling both for the memories of those who I have lost and the hope for those who remain and are fighting.
Thank you for supporting me.
