Help me support Wellspring this Giving Tuesday

From now until November 28, 2023, I will be participating in Giving Tuesday in support of Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation. 

Wellspring holds a special place in my heart. I have seen first hand the impact that Wellspring has on cancer patients and their families.  In mid-2016, shortly after discovering that my wife and I were expecting our first child, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. My treatment required both chemotherapy and radiation. It was a particularly scary and stressful time, and the diagnosis left me feeling very alone.

I was made aware of Wellspring by my treatment team and quickly signed up.  I received support in the form of counseling services, guided meditation and reiki, along with exercise and yoga classes. Having access to such programs made a huge difference in dealing with my cancer and its treatment, helping to address the mental and physical health difficulties I experienced during this time. It also provided a sense of community, compassion and empathy, which was invaluable.

Wellspring's Giving Tuesday goal this year is to raise at least $50,000 to fund critical support programs for families where either a parent or child is diagnosed with cancer. 

My personal goal is to raise $5,000. Together we can ensure the most vulnerable receive the urgent support and strategies they need to cope with this terrible disease.
