I'm fundraising for the Skyline Rush Challenge!
This September, I’m taking part in the Skyline Rush Challenge where I will be repelling down a high-rise building in downtown Edmonton! Yes, you read that right – I’m stepping off the edge and descending over 27 stories to raise funds and awareness for people living with cancer. It’s thrilling, a little terrifying, and totally worth it!
By donating to me, you are helping to make a difference in the lives of many. Proceeds from the event will support Wellspring Alberta, an organization that provides free programs, services and support to individuals living with cancer – those diagnosed, caregivers and kids. My daughter recently went through treatments for breast cancer. She found out about Wellspring and accessed a number of programs through them. I saw what a positive impact that community had (and continues to have) on her. Throughout her journey she has encountered so many obstacles and has been strong and courageous. Her mantra has been "I can do hard things". I feel that I should be able to do this hard thing along with her!
