2025 Skyline Rush Challenge - Main Event Saturday

I'm fundraising for the Skyline Rush Challenge!

This September, I’m taking part in the Skyline Rush Challenge where I will be repelling down a high-rise building in downtown Edmonton! Yes, you read that right – I’m stepping off the edge and descending over 27 stories to raise funds and awareness for people living with cancer. It’s thrilling, a little terrifying, and totally worth it!

By donating to me, you are helping to make a difference in the lives of many. Proceeds from the event will support Wellspring Alberta, an organization that provides free programs, services and support to individuals living with cancer – those diagnosed, caregivers and kids. Thank you for helping us make a difference in the life of someone facing cancer so that no one has to face cancer alone! For more information about Wellspring Alberta, visit wellspringalberta.ca.

Please support me and these deserving organizations today by making your tax-deductible donation online.

From Survivor to Supporter: Why I’m Taking the 265-Foot Leap for Wellspring Alberta

Cancer changes everything. It’s not just the diagnosis—it’s the treatments, the fear, the exhaustion, and the way life seems to split into “before” and “after.” I know this because I’ve lived it.

I’ve faced my own battle with serious health issues, including cancer. I’ve sat in those waiting rooms, heard the terrifying words, and endured the treatments that push your body and spirit to the limit. But I’m here today—a survivor—and with survival comes a deep desire to give back.

This year, I’m stepping far outside my comfort zone and taking on the Skyline Rappel Challenge—a heart-pounding 265-foot rappel—for a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart: Wellspring Alberta.

Wellspring is more than a charity; it’s a lifeline for Albertans living with cancer and their families. They provide emotional, practical, and wellness support during one of the hardest journeys a person can face. For many, they are a safe place to land when the rest of life feels like it’s falling apart.

My goal is to raise $1,200 in pledges to support Wellspring’s programs and services. Every dollar helps ensure that no one has to face cancer alone.

If you can, please consider making a pledge toward my rappel. Your support means more than you know—not just to me, but to the countless families across Alberta who need a little light in their darkest days.

Together, we can turn fear into hope and make sure that even in the face of cancer, no one stands alone.
