I’m Walking for My Mom 💙

Hi everybody! My name is Elias and I’m 6 years old. Guess what? I already raised $1,500 for the Big Walk! 🎉 But I don’t want to stop here. I want to keep going, step by step, to help even more.

I’ve been practicing walking with my mom. My mom is my hero because she was sick before, but now she’s better. When I walk, I feel like I’m helping other moms and families too. Every step is like a little bit of magic.

Me and my mom even made special T-shirts together. Mine says “My Mommy is My Hero” and hers says “My Son is My Hero.” We made them with hearts and capes because we are a team. 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

I want to tell all kids something: you can help too! Walking is so easy—we all do it every day. But when you walk for someone you love, it turns into something really, really big. Do it for your mom, your dad, your grandma, anyone you love.

Hi! My name is Elias and I am 6 years old.

I want to tell you a story about my mommy. She is the bravest person I know. A little while ago, my mommy got really sick. The doctors said it was called cancer. I didn’t know what that word meant at first, but I knew it made her very tired and she had to go to the hospital a lot.

Even when she was sick, my mommy still hugged me, read me stories, and told me everything was going to be okay. She smiled at me even when she didn’t feel good. She fought and fought, like a superhero. And guess what? She got better! My mommy beat cancer!

Now, I want to help other mommies, daddies, and kids who are going through the same thing. That’s why I am doing a walk and fundraiser. I’m walking with my little legs to raise money so doctors can help more families, and so no one feels alone when they’re sick.

I’m only 6, but I know love can be very big. I love my mommy more than anything, and I want to share that love with other people too.
