The Airdrie Firefighters Class 4 Recruits are the next wave of the fire service—driven, competitive, and built to serve. Currently grinding through training, we're earning our place through hard work, discipline, and a commitment to the crew beside us. Every evolution, every rep, and every call scenario is about building the kind of firefighters the community can count on when it matters most.

Taking on the Calgary Firefighters Stair Climb, Class 4 isn’t just showing up—we're stepping up. Competing head-to-head against members of the Operations Branch, we are out to prove that we belong, pushing pace, embracing the burn, and refusing to back down. It’s more than a climb—it’s a test of grit, teamwork, and pride in the job.

We climb in support of Wellspring Alberta, an organization providing no-cost programs and support to individuals and families facing cancer. Class 4 is proud to put in the work for something bigger than themselves—representing the future of the fire service while backing a cause that impacts the communities they serve.
